Microsoft PowerPoint is a computer program used to create digital slide shows for presentations. Small businesses can also use this software to create eye-catching digital signage to convey messages to their customers. It provides a very low-cost and convenient way to advertise within a store or a business. The process requires only a computer running Microsoft PowerPoint connected to a large computer monitor or HDTV.
Designing the Digital Signage
1.Click 'File' and select 'New' after you have opened PowerPoint. Select 'Blank Document' from the window that appears.
2.Click the 'Insert' tab at the top left side of the Microsoft PowerPoint window. Logitech quickcam express driver for windows 7.
3.Design the digital signage by using the buttons featured in the 'Insert' settings. Some design possibilities include inserting 'Text Box,' 'WordArt,' 'Pictures' and 'Clip Art.'
4.Right-click the left side of the window and select 'New Slide' to add another slide to the PowerPoint signage. Repeat Step 3 to create a design for the additional slide.
5.Continue to make new slides until everything that needs to be displayed in the digital signage is included in the PowerPoint presentation.
6.Click the 'Slide Show' tab and select the 'Set Up Slide Show.'
7.Click the 'Browsed at Kiosk (Full Screen)' radio button under the 'Show Type' heading and then click the 'OK' button.

8.Click the 'Save' button at the top left corner of the Microsoft PowerPoint window. Choose a file name and folder and click the 'Save' button. If you are displaying the PowerPoint sign on a different computer than the one you are designing it on, it may be best to save the PowerPoint presentation onto a USB flash drive.

Setting Up the Digital Signage
1.Place a computer monitor or HDTV in the spot where you want the digital signage to appear. Set up a computer nearby the monitor or HDTV.

4.Turn on the monitor or HDTV. If you are using an HDTV, you will need to tune it to the video input that corresponds to the type of monitor connection you are using for the computer.
5.Open Microsoft PowerPoint. Click the round 'Microsoft Office' button in the top left corner of the PowerPoint window and select 'Open.' A file browser window will appear.
6.Locate the PowerPoint file you created in the previous section and click the 'Open' button.
7.Press the 'F5' key on the keyboard to begin playing the PowerPoint presentation. It will play continuously and act as digital signage for your business.
